Good afternoon families! I hope you are staying cool on these summer like days. Summer vacation will be here before we know it! Lots of fun and exciting things are coming as we close out the school year.
Tigermania
We are grateful that all of the vendors and community organizations that planned to join us this weekend were able to reschedule and participate on our new date. Tigermania will be on Thursday, June 2 from 5:30-7:30. Food and drinks will be available for purchase as well as raffle tickets for our amazing raffle baskets. I will be sending photos throughout the week leading up to Tigermania. Thank you to all who donated to our theme baskets! We were able get at least 2-3 baskets made for each theme! In some cases 4 baskets! We will also have our famous Cake Walk-think musical chairs meets a drawing! Each chance to play will be $1. Winners get their choice of cakes that will be displayed nearby! There will be free games led by the YMCA, crafts, paint tattoos (instead of face painting). We have Haverhill Police and Fire coming, Ice Cream, Haverhill Public Library, Buttonwoods Museum, and of course the amazing staff at Tilton excited to have some fun with our students and families! It will be held at the Tilton Lower Playground. All members of the Tilton Community and their families/friends are welcome!
Staff Appreciation/PTO Update
This week we will celebrate our amazing staff for Teacher Appreciation week. Staff will be treated to fun and treats throughout the week. Ms. Chastney and I are extremely lucky to have such an amazing staff, dedicated to our students and school. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!
A HUGE shoutout to Mrs. Tricia Harrington our lone PTO board member who has been a ROCKSTAR all year, planning fundraisers and our Staff Appreciation week. We are in need of new PTO board members to take on these responsibilities moving forward. Ms. Harrington will help train and work with any parent who is willing to step into the role.
