Good afternoon families!
MCAS
MCAS testing for Grade 4 begins this week. Our grade 3 students are also finishing up by taking session 2 on Tuesday April 9th due to the delayed opening on our originally scheduled date.
Some tips to help your child:
-Be sure to get a good night’s sleep
-Eat a healthy breakfast (students are able to eat breakfast at school)
-Come to school on time with a fully charged chromebook. We also recommend bringing their charger just in case.
-Don’t stress, do your best! Answer EVERY question the best you can, especially open response items.
-Encourage them to take their time and plan
We will be having an assembly with each grade level the day before testing to review some tips and strategies and then they will walk the halls to be cheered on by the school as all students and staff know our Grades 3 & 4 students will rock the MCAS! As one of our posters reads “Who needs luck when we have talent!” GO TIGERS!

Pictures
Spring Picture day is coming! On Monday, April 22, classes will have their group photos taken, but you also have the opportunity to have spring individual pictures taken. Please see the flyer for more information. Tilton Elementary School_ Email Blast – Spring Picture Day Pre (Print)(1).jpg
Group pictures are free and all students will receive one.
Restaurant Night
On Thursday, April 25th, we are holding another restaurant night at Uno’s! It is valid for the ENTIRE Day so if you happen to know people looking for a place to lunch or are in need of some dinner plans, head on over to Uno’s. Valid for dine in or take out. Please see the flyer below. Hard copies will also go home.
Blankets
Blankets have come in and were delivered on Friday to those who ordered. We do have 30 available for purchase. If interested, please reach out to Shannon Berthiaume at shannon.adams54@yahoo.com
Chromebooks
As a reminder, please make sure your child brings his/her chromebook to school charged every day. If your child has lost or broken the chromebook, please let the school know so we can have it replaced.
