Drop-Off & Pick-Up Reminders

As part of our commitment to keeping our school a safe, smooth, and welcoming environment for every child, we kindly ask for your cooperation with our morning arrival and afternoon dismissal routines:
  • Use the Crosswalk on Grove Street: Please ensure you and your children always use the designated crosswalk when crossing Grove Street. It sets a great example for our students and helps pedestrians stay visible and safe around traffic.
  • Respect the Car Line & Drop-Off/Pick-Up Process: Please follow the designated car line flow and guidelines during arrival and dismissal. Patience and care in the loop ensure that every child enters and exits vehicles safely.
  • Avoid Parking Opposite the School: Please do not park on the opposite side of the street during arrival or pick-up. Parking across the street disrupts traffic flow, creates hazardous conditions for pedestrians, and endangers children attempting to cross outside the crosswalk.
By working together and following these safety procedures, we can ensure every student arrives and departs each day safely. Thank you for your support and cooperation in making our campus safe for everyone!

A Message From Our Counseling Team

We are excited to introduce MindUP for Life in our elementary classrooms this year! Our school counselors will visit classrooms to teach engaging, age-appropriate lessons that support students’ social and emotional growth.

Through MindUP, students will learn simple strategies to help them understand their emotions, manage stress, focus their attention, and make thoughtful choices. Lessons will also encourage kindness, empathy, gratitude, and positive relationships.

Students will practice skills such as mindful breathing, identifying feelings, calming their bodies and minds, and pausing before reacting. These are tools students can use at school, at home, and in their everyday lives.

We encourage you to ask your child about what they are learning during MindUP lessons and to practice some of these strategies together at home.

We look forward to partnering with you to help our students grow into confident, caring, and resilient learners. If you have any questions about MindUP for Life, please feel free to contact your child’s school counselor.
