Just a few quick summer updates:

Open House
More information about open house will become available in mid-August, but it will be held on August 26th at a time TBD.

Class lists
Information about teachers will be available on the portal by end of August.

Bussing
Bus information will be available in late August. Be advised of the following School Committee policy regarding ridership qualifications:

Kindergarten:  All students, except those living in immediate proximity to the school, as determined by the Superintendent.

Grades 1 – 3:  Students living more than one mile from school.

Grades 4 – 6:  Students living more than one and one-half miles from school.

If your child attends before/afterschool programming please ensure the transportation department is aware so students are assigned the correct bus. Most outside organizations send a list to the transportation department to make them aware. Please confirm with the program that your child is registered fully for said program as students will be brought back to school if they are not on the program list.

Supplies
We provide everything students need for school (notebooks, pencils, crayons, scissors) but we know its fun to shop :). All students should have a backpack, headphones, and a reusable water bottle. If students want their own crayons, scissors, and pencils, etc they can bring their own. We always encourage community supplies of pencils, paper towels, tissues, Clorox wipes, dry erase markers/erasers, glue sticks.

Kindergarten Screenings
These take place the week of August 26th. By mid-August families will be contacted to schedule their screening date and time where they will come meet their teacher, see the classroom, and be asked to complete several tasks. More informtion will be available in August
